Wilkinsons is a team of about 25, hailing from all over the world. We're dedicated to providing the best products & services to our local community and tourists alike.
There is a wide range of services on offer in combination with our varied product selection. All of our team members are equipped to give you the best care & advice in whatever area you need. If you require assistance with first aid, pharmaceuticals/medications, illness or pain, natural health, hygiene, skincare, haircare, beauty, fragrances, makeup or anything pharmacy retail, we have something for everyone. Our operating hours for most of the year are: 8:30am - 10:00pm (excluding Christmas day).
We have a long history of serving our community, international and domestic visitors with excellent customer service & advice.
Our Story
Wilkinsons Pharmacy stands proud with a remarkable history that spans over 150 years servicing both tourists and locals in the heart of Queenstown, New Zealand.
Our story began in 1867 when Hotops Dispensary first opened its doors at the corner of The Mall and Rees Street. In 1922, Gordon and Hilda Wilkinson acquired the business, which remained in the Wilkinson family for three generations, totaling 94 years of dedication to our community. In 2016, Kim and Marie Wilkinson entrusted the legacy to the current pharmacist owners, Glenn Mitchell and Bronwen Judkins, who are committed to continuing the tradition of exceptional service.

Glenn
Owner/Pharmacist
Glenn has been a pharmacist for over 25 years, joining the Wilkinsons team in 1999. He partnered with Kim & Marie Wilkinson to start Unichem Remarkables Pharmacy back in 2005 and 11 years later bought into Wilkinsons pharmacy alongside Bronwen Judkins. Glenn's commitment to patient care & his personable, humorous nature makes him a trusted and beloved figure in the community. He is not only a leader but also a mentor to his staff, always encouraging professional development and fostering a positive workplace culture. He puts his heart & soul into all he does and loves to see customers walk away healthy and happy.

Bronwen
Owner/Pharmacist
Bronwen has been with the Wilkinsons team for over 25 years and became co-owner in 2016. Her passion for health and wellness & providing exceptional care & advice are evident in her meticulous management of our extensive health & wellness department and is a great source of knowledge, able to answer any questions. In addition to her role as pharmacist, Bronwen also heads our HR department. Taking care of both dispensary and shop floor staff. Whether that be staff relations, hiring, rostering or admin. Bronwen's dedication to her profession and team ensures that Wilkinsons remains a pillar of the community, offering top-tier service and care to all who walk through its doors.

Kerri-Lee
Retail Manager
Longtime local Kerri-Lee is our in-house expert on pharmacy retail and a vital member of our team. With a keen eye for detail and an intuitive understanding of customer needs Kerri oversees our fragrance, cosmetic & gift sections and manages the retail staff. If you're wanting to spoil a special someone in your life, whether that be birthday or Christmas or a special event coming up, Kerri should be your first point of call. Her professionalism and dedication to exceptional service have made her an integral part of our team. She loves to serve her community bringing with her a great sense of humour and a no-nonsense attitude.

Pharmacist
Philip takes the title for our calmest team member, known for his ability to put anyone at ease with his reassuring demeanour. He spent 2 years over the ditch in Australia, the time providing him with invaluable knowledge about international pharmaceutical operations. Driven by a general curiosity, Philip is dedicated to researching any and all topics. His extensive knowledge encompasses most aspects of pharmacology, with a particular emphasis on vaccines and immunisations. Philip's calm and approachable manner, combined with his interest in learning & research, ensure that our customers receive the highest standard of care & advice.

A love for helping people and seeing them at their best are Helga's driving factors, she is thorough and dedicated to her craft. Helga combines her clinical knowledge with her love of helping people and practical approach to ensure customers are getting the best care. An expert in wound care & first aid, Helga loves to engage her enthusiastic and compassionate nature to serve her community in whatever way she can.

Lancome Counter Manager
Olivia, originally from the UK, decided to uproot her life and move to Queenstown a few years ago and hasn’t looked back since. Working at the UK’s leading health & well-being retailer equipped Olivia with a deep understanding of everything pharmacy retail. Passionate about skincare and a talent for beauty & makeup, Olivia manages the Lancôme counter. She finds immense joy in building meaningful connections with the local customer base & making tourists feel welcome in our store too. Olivia also manages our social media department, blending her creativity and vast knowledge of pharmacy retail to keep our community informed.

Clarins Counter Manager
Knowing how to look after yourself and looking good while doing it are a couple of Monica's specific talents. Managing the Clarins counter provides her with the perfect opportunity to utilise her expertise to help people with both skincare & makeup and is dedicated to ensuring her clients receive the best care, asking all the right questions to provide personalised recommendations. Monica has a warm and friendly demeanour and whether you need advice on skincare routines, product recommendations or beauty tips, Monica is the person to see.

Ellie proudly represents the second generation of her family within our team. Since joining in 2017, she's engaged in nearly every facet of the business, from frontline service to inventory control, administrative duties & HR. With an intimate knowledge of both the store front & back offices, Ellie is a wealth of knowledge in all areas, always quick to laugh and happy to provide advice, insight and solutions with ease. Her sweet & warm nature leave customers feeling understood and her unwavering work ethic inspires and uplifts the entire team at Wilkinsons.

Holly brings with her a wealth of experience and deep understanding of health & beauty from her tenure in pharmacies across Australia & New Zealand, where she's honed her skills in every aspect of pharmacy retail. From her beginnings as a shop floor assistant to her leadership roles as a manager and inventory controller, Holly's done it all. She has a no-nonsense approach and is quick with a joke, fostering camaraderie and a positive atmosphere at Wilkinsons.

Natural Health & International Relations Advisor
Spring loves to laugh but her knowledge on natural health & wellness is no joke. Our local vitamins expert, her understanding of holistic living is as expansive as it is precise. She is well researched in all areas, from winter wellness, sleep aids & stress relievers to pregnancy supplements, general health and almost anything else. Spring also oversees Wilkinson's international operations, with a special focus on serving our Chinese-speaking clientele. Her industrious approach and well-research understanding of pharmacy retail make her an indispensable asset to our team and to the community.
